Senior Citizens Active Retirement Group
This group meets at the Corbally United grounds and clubhouse every Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10am to 1pm. The service is used up to 40 members who range in ages from 65 to 85, and has been in existance for over 3 years. The service covers the three parishes and surrounding neighbouring areas.
The group provides
- Breakfast
- Hairdressing
- Chiropodist
- Health Check from visiting nurse
- Go 4 Life excercises
- Prensentations from Garda, Fire service
The also holds Bingo, Cards bowling and holds a Christmas Dinner, as wll as singing and dancing every two weeks. The group also makes use of the path around the foorball pitches to go for walks in a safe environment.
The group is very greatefull to Corbally United and its members for the use of the facility, which allows the club to offer these facilitues to the local area.
